Anjuna Langevin is a multidisciplinary artist working in performance-art, public intervention, photography and installation. Her work attempts to expose the relationships between human and nature; how belonging to the landscape and space impregnates our bodies; how it connects to a deeper motivation leading to environmental protection. Based on authentic presence and connexion, her work explores the relationship between the body and natural elements. She uses art as a way to create intimate encounters with others. Her public interventions use simple means such as found or personal objects, drawings, haikus and science derived methods to invite interactions. Often presented in natural and public environments, her work attempts to re-enchant daily life through a slight shift of perceptions or series of transformations. Her installations and performances invite the viewer to travel between cultures, times and scales.
